If the DPI setting recommended by your system is over 100% (mostly for 4K monitors), please follow the next steps to ensure that the overlay is displayed properly within your game:

  1. Open up your Overwolf installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf by default)
  2. Right-click on the file called Overwolf.exe
  3. Choose "Properties"
  4. Go to the "Compatibility" tab
  5. Click on "Change high DPI settings"
  6. Check the box for "Override high scaling behavior"
  7. For "Scaling performed by" choose "System (Enhanced)"
  8. Re-launch Overwolf to make sure that the changes are applied

Another option is to scale down the DPI to 100% (if your native monitor resolution is lower than 4K). In order to do that, please follow the next steps:

Windows 11

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Type in: DpiScaling.exe
  3. Select 100% from the dropdown list
  4. Sign out and back in to your Windows account (if you skip this step, the changes won't have any effect)

Windows 10

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Type in: DpiScaling.exe
  3. Drag the bar pointer to 100%
  4. Click "Apply"
  5. Sign out and back in to your Windows account (if you skip this step, the changes won't have any effect)

This will lower your DPI to 100% and will fix any issue triggered by DPI enlargement.
